LOCATION:
This permanent position is based in the West Midlands so candidates living in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, West Bromwich, Stourbridge or other local areas will be preferred. We are also happy to accept applications from candidates looking to relocate to the West Midlands area.

THE ROLE:
Working for an award winning manufacturer with an established client base across the world, as a Production Project Engineer you will play a vital role looking at production processes for product development and manufacture.

Typical duties will include cost down analysis, continuous improvement, design feasibility studies and cost analysis whereby you will make recommendations to technical and operations directors. You will be looking to apply the most up to date technology to production processes and project engineer new process introduction in line with bespoke product specifications.

To summarise, this career enhancing role encompasses elements associated with project engineer, production engineer and process engineering positions. A very challenging role offering superb scope for progression within a highly respected technology based manufacturer.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Essentially we are looking for degree qualified engineers who have performed a similar role to that described above.

You will have project management and project engineering abilities with exposure to continuous improvement practices, cost analysis, feasibility studies and root cause analysis being advantageous.

Any experience within technology biased, IT product development or special purpose equipment sectors would be of benefit but is not essential. Experience working within a manufacturing, production or process engineering company is preferred.

You will live locally to the West Midlands or be looking to relocate to the region.
