QuintilesIMS is a global leader in healthcare intelligence. We?re looking for a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to support our Marketing Manager across Northern Europe, Middle East & Africa. This role will be based from our offices in London Kings Cross.

Role Purpose:

To create and develop new internal communication processes and channels to drive effective employee engagement across North Europe, Middle East and Africa. To support the marketing manager on external marketing and communication activity, working across the full channel mix.

Principal Accountabilities

Internal communications

  • Develop an internal communication and engagement plan for the region.

  • Create a process for collecting and distributing information, engaging with the internal communication leads across the region.

  • Work with the global internal communication team for alignment between the region and global team, ensuring we leverage all internal communication channels effectively.

  • Research and implement new methods of connecting to the wider NEMEA community, taking into account time zones and languages spoken.

  • Produce engaging copy for a range of internal channels including employee newsletters and the intranet.

  • Regularly seek feedback from the region on the internal comms process and refine materials based on comments/suggestions.

External marketing

  • Support the marketing manager with external campaigns, across all marketing channels.

  • Monitor digital and offline engagement, producing a monthly report on all activity across the region.

  • Maintain an information sharing process between the countries and the global teams on planned local marketing activity.

  • Provide any ad-hoc support to local countries for executing local campaigns or other marketing events.

  • Manage and maintain the new ?store-front? information sharing portal for NEMEA

Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge required

  • Bachelor?s degree in Marketing / Business / Health / Science related field.

  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience within the healthcare industry or an agency working with Healthcare clients (experience with Life Sciences companies is preferred).

  • Basic understanding of the healthcare environment in Europe ? knowledge / awareness of key stakeholders and current issues.

  • Experience in creating and executing internal communications.

  • Experience in working on integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to draft concise, engaging copy written in plain English.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proof reading capabilities.

  • Excellent demonstrated ability to drive results balancing multiple projects and priorities to cost, quality and timeline metrics.

  • Ability to work independently and engage stakeholders within a global organization.

  • Experience in working with stakeholders across a number of countries with difference languages and cultural norms.
