You will be working with students throughout KS3 and KS4 and will need to able to work flexibly in order to build strong relationships with a variety of pupils. You will be devoted to raising young people's aspirations and eager to promote a love of your subject.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and driven English literature graduate, who has achieved a 2:1 or higher in their degree and has an excellent academic background including strong A-Levels. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire young learners, motivating them to perform to the best of their abilities.
You must be both compassionate and resilient in order to inspire those students who need an extra push to achieve their full potential. Your passion for the subject is the key to keeping them motivated to perform to the best of their abilities.
