Pharmacy Manager ? Lancaster
We are currently recruiting an opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist Manager to take the lead role in managing a busy patient orientated Pharmacy in Lancaster. This is a full time permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday working week, with an excellent salary package available.
The role offers a great opportunity to work in patient lead environment which thrives on a busy working environment which provides a number of patient lead services and community pharmacy provision. The Pharmacy enjoys strong relationships with local health care services and professionals based in close proximity and all work in collaboration to develop patient care and services.
Previous experience of working within a Pharmacy Management role is essential for this role as well as core personal attributes which will be explored during the first stage of the interview process. The pharmacy reflects a highly professional working environment with close liaison with medical professionals and patient care at the centre of pharmacy operations.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall management of the pharmacy ensuring that a safe, cost effective and high quality service is provided. You will be a well rounded pharmacist; an expert in your field, ensuring prescription processing meets operational and quality standards and complies with all legislative and regulatory requirements. You will manage a team of technically qualified pharmacy personnel in the delivery of this service ensuring that best practice is embedded across the operation
Core strengths include strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, the ability to set clear objectives for the team whilst mentoring them to develop their skills and knowledge. An effective communicator you will be able to engage effectively with patients, clinical and medical professionals and motivate your team.
- Qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
- Proven leadership and management experience gained in a busy pharmacy environment
- Natural high achiever, motivated, enthusiastic and meticulous
- Detailed knowledge of pharmacy regulatory standards, laws and ethics
This role is permanent and Full time with a Monday to Friday working week
