Field Service Engineer

Location: Covering the South Midlands.
Salary: Competitive, DOE.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

Due to ongoing expansion, an opening has arisen for a Field Service engineer within our UK Service Division providing Service and Technical Support predominantly in the South Midlands but also providing occasional assistance further south.

About the role

? Reporting to the Service Manager
? To manage and plan the efficient operation of the area, including all Scheduled Maintenance, Emergency, Warranty and Validation work.
? To provide technical support with equipment installations when required
? To assist with scheduled maintenance work in other territories.
? To actively promote all aspects of Metrohm UK including all Service Support products and to liaise with the local area sales person.
? To provide market intelligence to sales division.

? South Midlands
? Candidate must live on territory.

Applicant profile

? The successful candidate would ideally have an analytical chemistry background and either already have experience working as a Field Service Engineer on analytical equipment or have an active interest in moving into the service industry.
? The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or at least hold a higher level qualification in Chemistry.
? Ideally, the successful candidate will be familiar with Metrohm instrumentation.

Interview process

? After receiving a CV and if successful, candidates will be invited for a short initial face to face interview
? A second interview with Senior management will follow for suitable candidates
