Our client is part of a global manufacturing business, currently experiencing a high level of growth and development in the UK.
As part of their ongoing plans they are seeking a Projects and Improvements Engineer to support the senior engineering team with a wide variety of projects from small upgrades to large scale process improvements, maintenance programmes and Capital expenditure projects. This role will appeal to recent graduates looking to develop their career as well as to applicants with more developed experience.

Duties will include
The coordination and/or management of plant and facility engineering and capital improvement projects

Ensure that construction, improvement and/or modernization projects are deployed according to the specifications defined

Undertake/support asset performance and availability improvement activities, to optimise overall Plant performance, including introduction of new ways of working and PM programs.

This is a very exciting and interesting role which will appeal to candidates with an enthusiasm and passion for managing projects and bringing about improvements in a busy working environment.
It will provide a high level of variety as you will be involved in projects of all scales, sometimes working at different sites.
The role also offers excellent scope for learning and future development and as such, a willingness to travel occasionally may be required.

Ideal candidates will possess a degree in an engineering related discipline and preferably have some experience gained within a process environment.
Excellent organisational skills are essential with the ability to efficiently prioritise and work on own initiative.
The successful applicant will need to take a hands-on approach and be able to multi-task, carrying out various tasks as required.
