Job Description:

Cloudroom specialises in product development and IT consultancy services. As part of the organisation growth plan set for next 4 years, we are hiring expert developers and test professionals to work on one of our product development team of 4 to 6 members which is under design state, currently planned to set for function/market by end of 2018.

Cloudroom closely work with consortium partners to launch CRM product within UK & European market targeting to specific clients working with regulatory bodies & financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Automation Framework and must possess strong creative thinking, a real passion for programming technology, great attention to detail and must know how to bring an idea to life. Occasional weekend extended evening working may be required. This role is expecting to start between December 2017 and March 2018.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role demands exposure to IT services and upcoming technologies. Person would be responsible software testing design, planning, scripting and execution for a variety of key customer-facing and internal applications

·Interact with product manager, project manager and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives

·Develop and lead the automation framework/strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using different products available in market

·Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases

·Execution and analysis of test results

·Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate

·Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams for root cause identification and resolution

·Manage testing side of business, provide thought leadership

·Mentor, lead and grow a small development team

Key Skills:

Experience on the following is necessary

·Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C++, etc.

·Database skills mainly in Oracle and SQL Server

·Different operating systems with emphasis on Unix variants

·Object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc.

·Knowledge of automated testing tools such as WinRunner, QTP, Rational Robot, etc.

·IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls, routers, etc.

·Mercury Interactive/HP products (Quality Center, QTP, etc.)

·Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology

·Exposure to emerging platforms/technology

·Should be able to articulate own point of view logically, assess target audience needs and communicate properly

Qualification & Experience Required:

Candidates should ideally possess 8-12 years’ relevant work experience in development and/or testing role
