Lusona is working exclusively with a well-known UK brand based in South Lanarkshire to source suitable applicants for the newly created post of Finance Manager. The client has a diverse business and has undergone significant changes to develop operations in Scotland and England as they continue to expand. Reporting to the Financial Director, the role offers an exciting opportunity to work across the Group to create an internal financial support service and to ensure financial requirements are met. The Finance Manager will play a key role in continuing to the develop the finance team and work on a continuous improvement plan to ensure processes are robust and fit for purpose. The main remit will include: Management and development of the finance team Production of high quality monthly management accounts including board report to a strict timetable Prepare half year and full year financial accounts and statistics packs to strict timetables Prepare annual budgets, including units, revenue, direct costs and overheads Work with the other divisional directors / managers to deliver the 3-year strategy to achieve the 3-year forecast Forecast valuations revenues in conjunction with the Sales Director for inclusion in the quarterly valuations Assessment and improvement of existing processes and utilisation of the business systems and Excel models to improve delivery of financial information Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) with a proven track record of delivery within Industry, have excellent leadership qualities and an enthusiastic personality.
