The Teaching Assistant role would see you working under the guidance of a Music professional, to support pupils in and out of the classroom. Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers.

London schools have a proven track record of working with graduates, giving them the required skills and experience to become future 'Outstanding' teachers! Most have teacher training programmes and use this as a 'foundation year' to progress onto teacher training the following year.

The paid role is a real mixture to give a great insight into secondary school life. As a teaching assistant you will be gaining such valuable experience which could lead onto a Schools Direct position at the school whilst working along some energetic and inspirational teachers!

With modern facilities and resources, this school boasts excellent behaviour and fully supports your career aspirations to take on extra responsibilities. The school itself is located next to fantastic transport links which includes a central line stop only 3 minutes' walk from the school.
