Our client has been established for more than half a century and specialise in the sourcing and distribution of highest quality fresh FMCG produce to customers throughout the UK and Europe, employing more than 250 people and having numerous sites across the country. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of ongoing strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and proactive Management Accountant to complement their established and professional team.
Based near Birmingham and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful Management Accountant will work as part of the UK Finance team assisting in the production of accurate monthly Management accounts for Companies within the Group as a whole.
As the Management Accountant, You will support the business in the controlling and financial management and reporting of business performance as well as both managing and co-ordinating the day to day running of the finance function. You will also support the financial controller in the provision of management information to enable the business to be effectively and adequately managed and work closely with the Group Financial Controller to improve current reporting, analysis and KPI information, and drive new measures across the business as required.

To be considered for this diverse and extremely challenging role, you will be IT literate with advanced Excel skills and realistically qualified to final stages PQ or QBE, with a well organised approached and strong prioritising abilities whilst working within a pressurised FMCG environment. A strong communicator at all levels, you will be comfortable in working both autonomously and as part of a team within a dynamic and structured environment committed to the highest level of service to both internal and external customers.
