This system is crucial to the smooth running of the business. And so there is a lot of pressure to get this right first time. You will also get involved in the selection and implementation of a new finance system. You'll explore the options and make recommendations. On both of these projects you'll be gathering requirements, mapping out the "As is" and "To Be", looking at what needs to be done in terms of migration, gap analysis and creating the training documentation for the team covering data and finance processes. Your role is to make sure that the implementations take place without too much drama. Making sure the teams know what to accept and unblocking issues as they arrive. This is an agile business.

Moreover you will be up for a busy varied business analyst role that will often call on you to take on different roles to get something really important to the client delivered. You'll be organised, a problem solver and a great communicator (this means your spelling, grammar and verbal communication needs to be on point - no doubt you have seen my errors in this advert and they will have annoyed you!)
Where do I start?? They are a global publishing company, rights management business, commercial wing, brand ambassador and online presence of one of the UK's greatest exports, they are not a massive business (100 people-ish) but they have millions of customers, 100's of product lines and turn over a massive amount of money. In terms of what they do You'll love it. You will tell your friends and become a lot more popular overnight amongst a good proportion of them.
They have a beautiful office in the west end a stones through from Oxford Street, some of the best places to eat and London's finest kebab shop.
They employ bright people, have a pug in the office every Friday and you will be treated amazingly by everyone in the company.
Why you should do this role?
It is interesting and you will be doing a very full lifecycle role. You will work with good people and have a lot of autonomy in how you do your role. In short a perfect business analyst role.
