This unique role would suit a Russell Group graduate with a 1st or 2:1 classification. You will be working as a part of the excellent staff team, who has specific learning and personal development needs. You will need to be able to work with an empathetic and patient approach and show strong skills when build rapport with children who have additional needs. Day- to-day, you will be assisting the GCSE student with classroom activities and help with any additional learning support the teacher has in place.
Additionally, this role also has a pastoral aspect to it, whereby you will be enhancing the confidence and ability of pupils by encouraging and supporting them to engage and interact with their peers. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be confident communicating with a wide-range of people of various abilities and backgrounds.
