A leading manufacturer providing services to the packaging industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. Our client is a market leading manufacturer of complex packaging machinery serving a variety of manufacturing industries including consumer electronics, food and pharmaceuticals. Utilising excellent management and leadership the technical director has provided a catalyst for growth within the service department doubling the size of the service portfolio and a 100% increase in the number of service engineers. Due to the successful acquisition of leading contracts and reorganisation of the engineering hierarchy the need for a Field service engineer has arisen.
The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
As a field service engineer you will be based from home managing your own work load - on average you will be required to make one client visit a day as the machinery you will be working on is quite complex. Manufacturing, food, FMCG sites are the types of sites you will be visiting where you would be working on a range of packaging and labelling machinery.
The ideal candidate will have had experience in a similar industry in either a site based or field service environment. You would have strong Electrical or Mechanical diagnostic skills. You would need to be able to demonstrate that you are both self motivated and flexible to be able to meet the needs of this growing business.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Candidates may have relevant experience having held roles as a: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer or Service Technician
