A large retailer with a growing online presence is expanding their digital team and is looking for an Ecommerce Executive with strong CRO and analytical skills. If you're ambitious and looking to work with a business that offers support and progression, this could be the role for you.

Purpose of the role:

- Assisting the Online Trading Manager you will help to identify areas for testing and change on the websites and other online properties.
- Improve UX, reduce abandon rates, increase conversion rates and/or increase average order value.
- You will also work with the Data Insight Team to provide senior management with reports detailing the progress and outcomes of agreed tests.


- Work with the web analytics suites, Qubit and IBM Management Centre to identify candidates for tests and to set up experiments.
- Liaise with UX and CRO agencies and internal departments to ensure correct prioritisation of such tests and build into the ongoing delivery pipeline.
- Work with appropriate platforms and team members to ensure tests are set up in a manner that allows statistical robust analysis of results using the Bayesian method of probability at given confidence levels.
- Produce monthly, weekly, daily and ad-hoc reports as required by senior management in a timely manner.
- Quality check own work to ensure reports provided contain information that is accurate and correct.
- Work with the data insight team to review analytical reports and provide direction for development and improvements in the website page layouts, site navigation and search enhancement.
- Other duties commensurate with the role as required by senior management.


- Digital/Direct Marketing Qualification (IDM, CIM)
- New media and/or e-retail experience - desirable.
- Previous experience of Google Analytics, Qubit, IBM Management Centre or other Customer Experience and Commerce platforms desired.
- A team player with a flexible approach to the working day, you will be comfortable working as part of a team or autonomously as required.
- Be prepared to be flexible with working hours where workload demands it.
- Be open minded and able to adapt to change easily.
- Possess a high level of analytical skill, able to isolate key issues within information and data.
- Be proficient using Microsoft Office and in particular MS-Excel.
- Possess a basic understanding of SQL
- Have previous experience of using web facing control panels and analytics tools.
