My client are an multi award winning, market leading trading company who are currently recruiting for an End User Support Engineer, responsible for delivering 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line desktop support services

Responsibilities ? (End User Support Engineer)

  • In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department as well as maintaining constructive relationships
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
  • Install, Configure and Repair all desktop software/hardware to documented standards and create such documents where they do not exist
  • Ensure all queries are logged into the standard call logging system
  • Liaise with other departments to diagnose/resolve issues
  • Look for opportunities to turn reactive call handling into pro active service delivery
  • Update Knowledge base and administration systems with new information, and document technical instructions
  • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, participate in appropriate training
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
  • Other duties as may arise from time to time. A can do attitude is essential and rewarded
  • Take responsibility for the overall service provided to our customer base
  • Manage projects to completion whilst maintaining BAU activities

Required Skills ? (End User Support Engineer)

  • MCSA/MCDST or equivalent
  • Extensive experience of a large corporate Desktop Environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows domain environments
  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and scripting knowledge
  • Project management and delivery
  • Demonstrate constant service delivery under pressure
