This role would be perfectly suited for a humanities graduate with a 1st or 2:1 who would thrive in a role which would find you working on a 1:1 and group basis with students across Key Stages 3 -5.

At i-teachers we work closely with Secondary Schools across inner and outer London who are looking for talented graduates who wish to pursue a career in education or working with children.

Our aim is to place you at a school that would benefit your future career plans which would include arranging and coordinating your trial day.

The successful candidate will be mainly working and supporting students ranging from key stage 3 to key stage 5 classes on a 1:1 and group basis.

It would be beneficial if you have gained a 2:1 or higher in your degree and that the subject which you have graduated. The most important element is that you have a passion first of all for the subject and to become an educator and work within a school setting in the future.

The Teaching Assistant role itself will find you supporting the class teacher over an array of topics, helping students gain a better understanding of learning objectives within your chosen area of specialism. Throughout your time at the school you will find yourself work within the classroom and in smaller groups, aiding students who may need additional support in certain areas.
