A client based in Swansea is recruiting for an E Commerce Manager -

This is quite a specialist role the client is looking for someone with experience of online marketplaces and website building and maintenance. The company operate as a B2B wholesaler only, although many of the products are now designed in-house by their own design team. A key objective for 2018 is to enter the B2C market.

Key responsibilities:

Main

  • Own the e-commerce sales strategy to drive traffic and sales, and improve the customer journey experience
  • Build and develop strong relationships with customers to ensure continuous advancement of the e-commerce service
  • Identify and develop B2C e-commerce routes in addition to current wholesale trade, without damaging existing relationships with wholesale customers or potential growth within the wholesale market
  • Drive quality traffic through email marketing, SEO, PPC, social media, Google and other key sources
  • Analyse customer behaviour to unlock opportunities across acquisition, conversion and retention of the target audience
  • Manage internet product life cycle from concept approval through to end-of-life
  • Develop and contribute to the seasonal marketing strategies and project management of e-commerce projects
  • Analyse campaign performance and take necessary action to continually improve performance
  • Provide analytical reports of online sales to senior management and other key stakeholders

Essential

Previous digital marketing experience

Up to date with software and data trends, good knowledge of online trends

In depth understanding of web design and web analytic software

Experience of using marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon

Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and PPC campaigns

Experience of website review platforms, such as Trustpilot

Knowledge of email marketing

Well organized with excellent analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extended knowledge of common techniques and technologies to integrate web applications with external systems eg ERP, procurement platforms

Vibrant and highly motivated, proactive, hands-on team player

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Desirable

Technology or Marketing Degree

At least 2 years? experience in an online retail environment

Experience of working with external agencies and web developers

In depth understanding of Google Analytics
