Job Description ? Developer in Test / QA Engineer,

I am working with an innovation software solutions company based in Exeter, who are looking for a passionate Developer/QA Engineer that has good experience levels in automated testing and is proficient in at least one programming language. Your role will involve close collaboration with development teams, deep diving into code and putting in place robust frameworks for ensuring best practice test automation.

Skills:

  • Implementing test frameworks (ALM/Quality Centre; QTP, Cucumber, TestComplete, Kalabash, Appium, Selenium etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Web technologies:
    • o JavaScript, Selenium, nodejs, C#, HTML, CSS
    • o Cloud computing (AWS/Azure)
    • o Mobile development and testing
    • o Programming (JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, PowerShell etc.)

  • 2:1 or higher in a Computing related degree. ?Someone who gets excited by tough technical challenges. ?Someone who loves to learn and is passionate about helping others.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing development practices

The key is that you are a capable developer, the specific languages and technologies can then be learned. Your adaptability, aptitude and chiefly your attitude are the most important.
