Our food manufacturing client has an opportunity for a Training Manager to ensure that business needs are met regarding the compliance training of existing and new colleagues across the group.
The Role:

Coordinate and schedule all compliance training for sites
Adhere to the training policy in areas including refresher time scales
Formulate training material when needed for ad-hoc development needs in the business
Deliver in house and certificated training in line with company requirements across all shifts and sites
Assist department managers in sourcing suitable external training providers when required.
Provide compliance stats by site and group both weekly and monthly
Manage audit requirements and present to external auditors when required
To ensure that the Company is professionally represented at all times, both inside and outside the business.
To protect the health, safety and welfare of the job-holder and others at all times.
To take an active role in continuously developing your skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by the HR Manager / Director.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.

The Person:

Qualified (Degree or equivalent) and experienced in the delivery of Food Industry related training
First class communication skills- verbal and written and a confident presenter
Qualifications held in HACCP level 3, Food Safety level 3 or 4 essential
Able to flex to business demands and prioritise workloads
Attention to detail and IT literate
Effective negotiation skills
Team player, enthusiastic and professional
Must be able to drive
