New opportunity not to be missed! Calico has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the team based in Burnley. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, the ideal Assistant Accountant will receive a competitive salary of £25,226 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our busy Finance Team. The successful applicant will be working for the Calico Group; which includes a number of different companies working within varying sectors.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts, assisting with budget setting, reconciling control accounts, preparing costings for bid proposals, working closely with operational managers and assisting the team to deliver excellent results.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Significant experience of preparing management accounts and the associated work
- Experience of preparing budgets
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills and the ability to identify efficient ways of working
- Experience in using financial accounting systems
- The ability to work with the minimum of supervision
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to plan workloads to ensure that deadlines are met
- A clean driving license and the use of your own vehicle
