About the role
You will join a team and help provide world class secure solutions for our Enterprise clients. You will act as the lead Architect for assigned technology domains within voice platforms and to drive architectural process and deliverables through the project lifecycle
You will be accountable for the architecture & design of core/customer networks, encompassing strategic growth, capacity management and optimisation. It’s important to keep abreast of technology trends, working with multiple vendors as well as building key relationships within the business.
You will own the governance of all technology decisions, technical specifications and requests for change. Defining, maintaining and owning the technology road map for allocated technology domains. Ultimately you will provide expert technical support to department and to Customers.
- Technical knowledge of the following: UK voice technical & regulatory requirements, voicemail platforms, Cisco, VoIP protocols
- Knowledge/exposure of the following mobile: indoor radio solutions, machine to machine communications
- Understanding of new technology capabilities & technical standards
- Maintaining an awareness of technical roadmaps
- Ability to shape propositions and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to hold and maintain a level of security clearance
