Experienced Family Lawyer required for a niche firm in the Rye area on a FTC basis! The Firm Our client is a niche firm well known for delivering excellent client skills to individuals in Rye and the surrounding counties. They are staffed with a team of experts who deliver tailored services to suit individual client needs, therefore building and maintaining a good client base. They are now seeking a Family Lawyer to join their flourishing team for full or part time work. The Role A new opportunity has arisen for a Family Lawyer within a niche department in the Rye area. This is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive who has a minimum of 6 years PQE and solid background in Private and Publicly funded matrimonial and care proceeding work. You will undertake duties to include: domestic abuse; separation; divorce; cohabitation disputes; surrogacy; Children Act applications and; advocacy. The successful Lawyer will be empathetic and have good client care skills working well as part of a team. This role is offered on a full or part time basis and has a possibility of progressing into a permanent position for the right Lawyer. The Candidate You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 6 years PQE; You must have solid experience within the Family department; You will be available to start from December on a FTC initially for 2 months; Family or Child Panel membership is advantageous; You will be able to handle a diverse caseload to meet tight deadlines; You will be client focused with good attention to details; You will be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative; Expertise in LAA is desirable.
