An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading licensed apparel supplier in Central London for a Merchandiser/ Costing Clerk to join their vibrant team in their head office.
About the Company...
My client is a licensed apparel supplier who specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of licensed apparel to the fast and mid market high street retailers.
As a Merchandiser/ Costing Clerk you will be fully responsible for:
-Putting together costing
-Negotiating between customers and factories
-Working with factories/designers/customers where necessary to amend designs to fit margins
-Liaising with & negotiating with factories on price/delivery etc
-Liaising with trim suppliers, ordering trims
-Updating and managing critical path
-Ensuring trims, fabrics, artworks are on time
-Ensuring on time delivery
-Signing off bulk delivery invoices
-Liaising with the freight forwarder/shipment clearance
-Booking fabrics/trims for allocated orders
-Managing your order book for assigned customers/departments
-Liaising with your department in terms of existing and new orders
-Attention to detail
-Methodical and logical thinking
-Good numeracy & problem solving skills
-Strong Analytical skills.
