Lusona are working on behalf of a well established accountancy firm based in Glasgow City Centre, we are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their busy team. The role its self will be to manage the payroll team and their payroll clients. Key responsibilities: Manage all payroll clients and ensure that they are receiving high quality work from the payroll team. Ensuring that all legislative requirements are met and that all deadlines are met. Meet with or make regular calls to clients to ensure that all of their requirements are met. Review fee levels and review service level agreements and prepare fees. Provide advice to service groups. Ensure that the most appropriately trained employees are dealing with the correct level of payroll. Regular meetings/calls to clients to ensure that all requirements are being covered and not just for payroll/pensions. Provide quotes for potential new clients and meet with potential new clients. Market the team internally as well as externally. Develop payroll strategy and contribute to service group plans. Leadership responsibilities: Management of payroll employees and to ensure that employee knowledge remains up to date. Prepare portfolios dependant on employee’s knowledge /expertise. Plan timetables, review payrolls and time sheets. Assist junior employees with payroll training and auto enrolment training as required.
