Our client, a large, financial organisation based in the centre of Edinburgh are looking for a Regulatory Policy Associate to join their team. This team ensures that the organisation is compliant with regulatory capital and reporting requirements across all its territories. This includes engaging with regulatory bodies like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the European Banking Authority (EBA), and responding to consultation papers these bodies publish. The team works closely with other departments to that a large volume of regulatory returns are submitted accurately. They are also responsible for the project management of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) which is submitted annually to the FCA, the Dutch ICAAP, the Pillar 3 Disclosure document. This is a contract role for 5 months. Key Responsibilities: *Maintain Regulatory Policy's log. This log tracks all the ad hoc regulatory queries the team is working on. The individual will work closely with the Regulatory Policy and Financial Reporting teams in order to keep up to date with ad hoc queries and update at meetings. *Responsible for coordinating the editing of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) document. *Reviewing regulators websites and publications across Europe with a view to identifying emerging issues. *Respond to ad hoc regulatory queries. *Produce Regulatory Policy's fortnightly update for Finance. Skills: Qualifications and Skills: *Professional Accountancy qualification preferred but not essential *Good regulatory reporting experience *Good organisational and project management skills. * *Good written / presentation skills. *Able to work closely with a variety of stakeholders within the business included senior management. *Knowledge of prudential regulatory reporting and ICAAPs beneficial
