Technical Consultant / Infrastructure Specialist - circ £55,000 - £65,000 + £6K Car Allowance & Bonus
Location - Basingstoke + Home Based & Client Site

An expanding Consultancy is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist / Technical Consultant with a good knowledge of virtualisation (VMWare), FC SAN / Storage and networking (ideally Cisco). This is a customer facing role where you will be involved from cradle to grave in the design and delivery of enterprise level infrastructure solutions.

Our client, a small and dynamic MSP / Reseller provides solutions for IT Infrastructure, Data Centre, Network Connectivity and Managed Services to a UK wide customer base. The Technical Consultant will be involved with Pre-Sales, Requirement Gathering, Solution Design, Solution Implementation and Support. It will vary but it is expected your time would be spent split between the office in Basingstoke (1 or 2 days per week), client sites, data centre and working from home.

To be considered for the post candidates will need to be comfortable engaging with client technical teams as well board level execs. You will be a thinker that can evangelise about technology and a doer that is happy to be hands on and implement large scale / enterprise solutions.

Ideally you will have good experience in both server and networking technologies although the client is happy to provide further training where required.

Ideally you will have experience with most of the following;

VMWare, SAN / Storage, HP 3Par, HP Blades, Veeam, MPLS Networking, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Routers / Switching.

In return for your expertise you can expect a very attractive salary circa £60,000 to £65,000 + £6K car allowance + bonus + healthcare and flexible working.
