Communications & Editorial Manager (Part time)

We?re looking for an experienced communications manager to join our team at a pivotal moment. As part of our migration onto Office 365, we?ll use this to put digital collaboration at the heart of the way we work and communicate. We need a planning guru with an eye for great content to help us use the new platform to bring our strategy to life.

You?ll be working as part of a new job share, with shared responsibility for the daily delivery of our editorial content across internal channels ? that includes a mix of digital and events. That means we?re looking for an exceptional writer who will use their strong commercial instincts, business understanding and wider knowledge to identify, plan and deliver great content that connects with Partners and drives conversation.

So you?ll lead on developing weekly content for our CEO communications, managing our overall strategic communications plan and working with our digital team on proactive content development for our new collaboration platform. You?ll also support the delivery of our event plans and tone of voice training programme.

You?ll be accountable for

  • Proactively developing the plan for regular communications, including: weekly communications, daily news channels, and other executive comms.
  • You?ll work with Business Partners and wider stakeholders to build an engaging, relevant plan.
  • Daily publishing ? making sure scheduled comms are lined up for publishing and that an appropriate publisher is identified from the Internal Communications team.
  • Developing and maintaining our editorial standards. Using your expertise as a writer and editor to coach other writers in the business on how to apply the brand and tone of voice.
  • Making sure our editorial processes are clear and comply with all risk requirements.
  • Be very aware of company tone of voice and ensure it?s heard on all communications.
