We develop and implement highly complex intralogistics projects for renowned customers from various industries. As a Project Manager you are responsible for the technical and economic results of orders. You will be supported by a team of specialists.
+ Responsibility for the projects during the complete project lead time
+ Contact person for customers and internal and external partners
+ Creation of solution concepts with the responsible departments
+ Coordination and implementation of schedule and budget planning
+ Responsibility for meeting the agreed performance and availability
+ Planning and management of internal and external tests
+ Active support during commissioning up to acceptance by the customer
+ £40-55k basic (depending on experience)

+ Responsible for design and performance elements of the project/s. Motivates and leads internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
Project execution and control:
+ Manages the controls/project team allocated to the project, defining, with key stakeholders, the scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, time schedule and detailed work allocation. Monitors and controls project cost and financials.
Projects, processes and tools:
+ Ensures project follows sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard internal directives and procedures. Ensures projects follow external standards etc. that influence activities and targets.
Manage uncertainties and risks:
+ Identifies, contains and reduces risk. Ensures appropriate handling of change requests. Ensures transparency around unforeseen results/events and identified risks and makes sure that they are properly prioritized, managed and communicated.
+ Uses own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams.
+ Ensures understanding of customer value. Takes into consideration requirements and demands coming from customers and from different functions (sales, supply, production, etc.). Acts to ensure customer satisfaction and expectations.
+ Serves as the key contact for the project stakeholders. Effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and support.
+ Manages relationships with stakeholders, internal functions, other R&D teams in Technology Centre and/or Corporate Research Centres and external relevant parties (e.g. customers, academia).
+ Technical degree or studies (eg. electronics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering)
+ Job experience in the management of projects
+ Team player, quick learner and flexibility
+ High level of quality awareness, analytical thinking and an ability to work independently
+ Good communication skills and bargaining power
+ Willingness to travel
+ 3 or more years project management experience in automation industry
+ Strong leading, organization and communication ability
+ Familiar with CAD drawings
+ Excellent in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)
