New Business Broker
Do you have experience within a Commercial Insurance position? Have you dealt with New Business Development Executives?
Premier Recruitment Solutions are currently working with an insurance broker based in Redhill who are looking to recruit for a Commercial Insurance New Business Broker/Handler.
As a Commercial New Business Broker, you will be dealing with all Commercial New Business enquiries, working closely with Business Development Executives and Account Directors.
- Broking new enquiries as well as using on line quote systems
- Creating broking presentations using standard templates
- Creating and issuing new business quotation documents and reports using standard templates
- Updating enquiry lists & production of monthly statistics
Day to day duties
- Provide positive contribution to the team objectives
- Carry out tasks which from time to time may reasonably be requested by a senior member of staff
- To ensure self-development through attendance at Technical Seminars, Courses, Professional Studies etc.
- Ability to remain motivated on deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately at all levels ? written / oral / telephone
- Able to work with figures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to progress with Professional Qualifications
- Minimum 5 GCSE?s grades A-C
- Minimum 5 years commercial broking / insurance experience
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (2010) applications (PowerPoint useful but not essential)
- Experience / knowledge of Acturis would be useful but not essential
- Cert CII qualified or part way useful but not essential
