JOB PURPOSE Assisting the company in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not exhaustive and other areas of responsibility may be included) Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, calculating VAT, processing management accounts etc relating to the company TMS (UK) Ltd and TMSi. Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as necessary. Collate paperwork in relation to expenses and update the relevant expenses spreadsheet. Help oversee and manage individual accounts. Create, send, and follow up on invoices. Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets. Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct. Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients. Collect information for and prepare; payroll payments and pensions information for employees and any related document/spreadsheets including absences and holidays, PAYE etc Assist the company in creating financial reports when required. Adhere to the company's or organisation's financial policies and procedures. Answers questions and provide assistance to other staff members, customers, and clients as needed. Manage the workload in the absence of colleagues within the Accounts Department. REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of Sage software is essential. HOURS OF WORK 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm PAY & BENEFITS £20,000 - £23,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications. 30 hours Sick Pay/Appointment Leave After 6 Months. 29 days annual leave entitlement per holiday year, inclusive of bank holidays, with length of service holiday accrual.
