The Role:

Dreams are currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation; this role plays a pivotal part in transitioning to our new Hybris platform to support our market-leading omnichannel vision.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious team with significant career growth potential. Our new mobile-first replatform is part-complete and we require a skilled, experienced Web Merchandiser to take a key role in setting up and maintaining our product assortment in our new environment.

The Web Merchandiser is a cross-functional role, supporting the Online Trading Manager, working between the Ecommerce and Commercial buying/merchandising teams, as well as interacting with other key departments such as marketing and customer services. It is expected that the Web Merchandiser will be digitally savvy, proactively influencing and driving digital awareness/initiatives within a face-paced commercial/retail environment.

Main Accountabilities:

-Set up of new product, categories and landing page experiences into new web platform
-Optimise product copy, imagery/video content
-Digital merchandising including optimisation of search, recommendations, cross/upsells
-Cross-department promotional planning and on-site deployment
-Maintain a consistent look and feel and user journey throughout all web properties
-Assist in tracking and reporting activities
-Be proactive in driving and delivering changes to the site, in order to improve the visitor experience
-Documenting and communicating findings to the teams
-Work cooperatively with key team members and vendors
-Proactively identify ways to improve the onsite customer experience
-Training and upskilling commercial teams with Hybris back-office skills

Principal Skills & Attributes Required:

-Strong communication and organisational skills
-Knowledge of Magento (outgoing system) and Hybris (new system) would be an advantage
-Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch/Invision skills
-Google Analytics, HotJar, Monetate, BazarreVoice, Solr seach tools
-Team player - and able to confidently build relationships and work across teams
-A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
-A genuine passion and interest in Ecommerce and proving a great online experience for customers
