As the SEO/Content Marketing Lead you will own the delivery of the agencies editorial content strategy for their clients. You will be responsible for onsite optimisation, content production, and providing the best possible ROI through organic search.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the production of onsite and blog content with a team of copywriters
  • Working across departments to ensure content is aligned to the digital strategy, on-brand, on-brief and maximises the client?s ROI
  • Performing keyword research, audience analysis and social research to support content ideas
  • Lead the creation of content to help clients grow through sustainable organic search visibility
  • Leading brainstorming and content idea sessions
  • Supporting strategic discussions about the best ways to use SEO to solve business challenges and drive marketing performance
  • Influencer prospecting and outreach strategy recommendations
  • Managing monthly client deadlines individually and for the team, ensuring work is completed one time and sent to clients

Skills/Experience

  • 3+ years exposure in content production and strategy, either in-house or in an agency environment
  • Expert level of understanding across all elements of SEO, including on- and off-page factors and basic understanding of technical SEO
  • Knowledge of content tools to support day-to-day strategy including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, backlink analysis, and social monitoring platforms
  • Comfortable working with different content management systems
  • Confident in front of clients - comfortable with calls, meetings and presentations
  • Working proficiency with Excel
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
