RESEARCH ENGINEER IN TURBOCHARGERS
Birmingham High Performance Turbomachinery invites applications for the above post, starting 1 January, 2018, or as soon as possible after the date.
The research engineer is expected to undertake the development of higher performance turbochargers, featuring fast response time and reduced emissions and fuel consumption. The work is both exciting and challenging. The latest patent technology of the company will be applied in the project.
Applicants to this position are expected to have profound practical experience in turbochargers, especially in flexible bearings, rotor dynamics, high standard balancing, turbocharger tests, and vehicle integration. Experience in computer simulation is preferred. A first degree in mechanical engineering is of advantageous. The salary is £28,098 to £35,551 per annum.
