We are looking for a determined, hard-working behaviour support assistant who can work at a successful, fast paced school. The school is well-resourced and has a fantastic atmosphere. The successful candidate needs to have previous experience in a mentoring role, one to one, group work and classroom support. You will be required to liaise with parents and other services, and therefore will need to be an effective communicator. You will have recently completed a core undergraduate degree, with sound subject knowledge and strong literacy and numeracy skills to be able to fully support the pupil.

The job role consists of behaviour management, numeracy/literacy support, and pastoral care, delivering a range of activities and liaising with families. There will be opportunity to grow and develop, with training and guidance offered by the school's SENCO and lead inclusion practitioner. There will be other Behaviour Mentor in school, so you will have a cohort to share your experiences and ideas with.
