My client is a well established firm of Chartered Accountants. Due to their continued success they are looking to recruit an experienced or up-and-coming Accounts Manager to take on a role offering both extensive client contact and internal practice management duties.
Your duties in this varied and interesting role will include:
* Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of client contact and liaising with other advisors
* Managing internal workflow and deadlines
* Meeting with existing and potential new clients
* Preparation of accounts and tax returns for companies and individuals
* Review of work prepared by junior members of staff
* Preparing and managing monthly targets and billing
Applications are invited from candidate with a minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience, and who may hold ACA, ACCA or AAT qualifications, though I am also keen to hear from applicants who may not have completed formal qualifications. Most importantly, you will have the interpersonal skills to effectively work with a varied client portfolio, and the technical expertise and credibility to manage a team of accountancy staff from trainees through to seniors.
