The Role - Secondary SEN Teacher
For this secondary SEN teacher role you must be a fully qualified teacher holding QTS as well as have atleast two years teaching in the UK, preferably in special education. Ideally, you will have previous experience teaching at both primary and secondary level as you will be required to teach a small class of 4 students in Key Stage 3 that have high functioning Autism and are working at KS2 level, specifically around Year 4-5. You will be supported by one teaching assistant at all times and as the class is due to grow to 6 students you will also have the support of an additional teaching assistant.
