Section Manager

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: up to £35k

I am currently looking for a Section Manager who has experience in Food Manufacturing. The role is with a company who has multiple sites all over the UK, and continue their growth year and year on.

The Role:

  • Production Management
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Team Development

You'll be working at the company's site in Northamptonshire, and as a Section Manager you will be an effective support to the team on permanent day shifts looking after circa 50 people within your section. The purpose of the role will be to ensure safe, effective and efficient management of the production and people, meeting the requirements of the production plan whilst maintaining health and safety, quality and food safety standards.

You'll be involved in leading and managing continuous improvement, as well as ensuring that H&S compliance and delivering on KPI's. Finally, you'll be maintaining customer service targets and development initiatives in your area to deliver budgeted improvements.

There are strong plans for development on the site that will be going forward in the next 18 months, so this is an exciting time to join the company and really have an influence.

The Candidate:

  • Experience working in FMCG environment or any exposure to fast pace manufacturing operation, as well as exposure to management of up to 50 people or more.
  • Relevant knowledge of Food Standards Act and relevant Health & Safety issues desirable.
  • Qualifications in Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and the Lean Principles
