Management Accountant Birmingham
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a number 2 finance role working for one of the UK’s leading solutions focussed business.
This is a very varied role which will allow up to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to a wide range of accounting procedures including the preparation of management accounts.
You need to be happy to provide operational support to the Senior Management Team and well as producing financial reporting for the business Directors.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Management Accounts
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Bank reconciliations
You will also have had some man-management experience as this role does come with one direct report.
This is a key role that requires a high work and professional ethic to ensure the highest standards are achieved in the delivery of this role.
The successful candidate must be able to attend and represent the business at client meetings and feel confident in identifying areas of development and improvement.
When it comes to technical skills then my client will be looking for someone who demonstrates commercial awareness, has good all round IT skills and if you have used Sage, then all the better!
Also, if you love problem solving and have good analytical skills, then this role is perfect for you!
Part or fully qualified is all an advantage but not an essential pre-requisite for this role.
