The Customer Acquisition team will be working closely with the marketing, engineering and user experience teams to help identify, evaluate and develop customer acquisition channels for our client's online services. You will need to be creative in the ways you attract new customers, use clever engagement tactics and have a good eye for high quality code writing. Our client never wants you to feel as though you are just a cog in the machine by providing regular reviews of their working practises to find ways to work more effectively and also to help staff learn and improve. They also encourage open communication, tight collaboration and a minimum amount of bureaucracy. They are working at making a place where good people can become great. To be successful in this role you will need the following - * A passion and knowledge of software development, as you will need to be able to show customers what they can do with the platforms and services. * A Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree, or have equivalent professional experience. * To be fluent in at least on OO language (e.g. C++, C#,Javasript) and also have an understanding of OOD (e.g. design patterns, SOLID). * To be able to communicate confidently with a technical audience, and be able to help people understand complex subjects quickly. * Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as excellent written and oral skills, as you will need to be able to solve problems with customers and colleagues. * Be inquisitive, flexible, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and roles. * The ability to work as part of a team while also being self motivated. * Show a willingness to travel in order to meet with customers and attend various events. * Experience of working within a Software as a Service business, as well as working with user communities. * Have a passion for 3D technology, mapping and VR/AR. * An awareness of marketing, data science, software engineering or product evangelism.
