The role is heavily focused on marketing data analysis and the candidate will be required to understand complex formulas and carry out reporting within the team.

This role would suit an individual with a strong analytical ability combined with a high attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and anomalies. This role is suitable for a fresh graduate (or equivalent) looking for their first role. You will ideally have a degree in Maths, Business Studies or Economics.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise with industry partners to obtain all the required information needed to model Asset Value (AV) quotations
  • Use the information obtained in one of a number of financial models in order to produce an Asset Value quotation for the industry partners, based on a pre-set Internal Rate of Return (IRR) or Payback
  • Use Market Intelligence to maximise IRR’s in conjunction with Strategic Pricing Manager, AV team and Development Director
  • Handle queries around Asset Values and asset adoption processes
  • Make changes and improvements to the data models, ideally using both advanced Excel functions and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • Ensure that data stored in databases is kept up to date, including accepting new sites and altering/cancelling won sites
  • Oversee the sending and receiving of monthly schedule 8s
  • Oversee the sending and receiving of monthly developer and metering contracts
  • Liaise with AV Claims department to ensure that all Schedule 8s are returned before an AV for a site is paid
  • Produce reports/analysis for management team as and when they need it
  • Provide analytical support to the rest of the team on spreadsheet/database issues
  • Support the Infill team, modeling projects based on multiple contractor quotes for existing housing schemes, as and when they come in
  • Regulatory and fund reporting where required
  • Skills required:

    To fulfill the role described above the position requires the following key skills:

  • Degree in Maths, Business Studies, or Economics
  • Excellent data manipulation and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel skills including functions ("vlookup", "countif", "pivot table", etc)
  • Basic Access/database skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Logical / analytical thinker
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ideally you will be available to start around the 20th November.
