Person specification - Science Teacher
The ideal candidate is a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' teacher of Science, who is ripe for promotion, or bursting to get stuck into their career as an NQT. You must have excellent subject knowledge, as well as an ability to integrate into a team. Particularly useful skillsets will be those interested in taking the lead on curriculum delivery as well as the development of a team.
In return, you will benefit from a large support network, including an inspirational SLT who will work collaboratively to ensure you get the right support and guidance you need to become the best practitioner you can be, using innovative and creative teaching techniques. You will be exposed to teaching KS3 and KS3 so that you are confident with a broad spectrum of the curriculum. With GCSE results improving on a yearly basis this school is an ideal place to begin or further your Science Teaching career.
