Vacancy for a fully experienced book keeper to work in a stand-alone position reporting directly to the Directors of a family run business.
The successful candidate should have Sage 50 accounts and Payroll experience and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working to weekly and monthly deadlines and organising daily routines to maintain purchase and sales ledgers, Fixed Asset Register, bank reconciliations, VAT Returns Intrastat and EC Sales Lists. Processing weekly and monthly payroll, PAYE returns and administrating the auto enrolment pension scheme.
General Administration associated with all tasks including production of sales invoices and statements and credit control. Verifying supplier’s statements and making payments via internet bank and automated cheque runs.
Farm or Agricultural experience would be advantageous.
Full drivers licence essential. Hours and salary negotiable depending on experience.
