Redwood Search are currently working with a Market leading Stourport based business who have heavily invested in the development of the business Including new offices which has been renovated to a very high standard.

Reporting into the Financial controller the role of the purchase ledger supervisor will include the below duties;

  • Developing 2 accounts assistants, ensuring that you offer day to day support offering help and advice.
  • Overseeing the weekly and monthly payroll procedures.
  • Managing the payment runs for both scheduled and one off payments.
  • Ensuring that all expense claims are compliant with the company guidelines and that the claims are paid within the specified timescales.
  • Reviewing all financial data for Payroll and Purchase ledger, reporting on the company cash flow to the Financial controller.
  • Administering and reconciling factoring accounts.
  • Reconciling the general ledger as well as journal postings.
The ideal candidate will have complete AAT level 4 although this is not essential, and will have strong previous experience supervising a team.

You will also have strong purchase ledger experience, having previously processed invoices for a business.

Our client is offering a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience as well as 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
