Seymour John are exclusively partnering with a manufacturing organisation based in Birmingham, to recruit a purchase ledger clerk on a fixed term contract basis for the next 12 months. The role has arisen due to a period of sustained growth, which has resulted in additional support being required to supplement both the Finance manager and the wider finance team.

Reporting directly into the finance manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the processing the purchase ledger and company expenses. You will also assist in the production of information required by the regulatory bodies associated with the organisation. The weekly reconciliation of the companies bank accounts is key, as well as the monthly monitoring reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of three years purchase ledger experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (v-look ups and pivot tables) as is the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders of the business.
