Room Leader and Nursery Practitioner - Putney

Our client is an Outstanding OFSTED rated nursery based in Putney, London aiming to provide the very best in early years care and education.

We are recruiting for a Room Leader and Nursery Nurse to join our clients' fantastic private nursery that offers a 'home from home' feeling.

They provide a nurturing, stimulating and dynamic learning environment, helping children to become confident by developing their emotional, intellectual and physical skills in order to provide good foundations for their future.

Job Role: Room Leader

Hours: Full Time (8:00am - 6:00pm)

Salary: Competitive Salary (Dependant on experience and qualifications, this will be discussed in an interview)

Job Description: The role of the Room Leader is to work as part of the management team to provide professional leadership and management to the early year's practitioners within their base room and to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education.

What you need:

  • Room Leader Experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Be able to plan for the individual child
  • Be able to complete Learning Journeys and Key work
  • Honest, reliable and flexible, with an enthusiastic approach to work
  • Excellent organisational, time management and IT skills
  • The confidence and knowledge to liaise with outside agencies in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to work under pressure without supervision

Job Role: Nursery Practitioner

Job Description: The role of an Early Years Practitioner is to work with the team in providing quality childcare and education and ensuring the needs of all children are being met.

What you need:

  • Experience working in a childcare setting
  • Minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification
  • Be able to plan for the individual child
  • Be able to complete Learning Journeys and Key work
  • Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
  • Honest, reliable and flexible with an enthusiastic approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure
