The role: An exciting BA opportunity where you will be responsible for engagingwith the business on behalf of the IT project team to understand theirneeds and translating this into requirements IT can use to developsolutions. Including the capture, analysis and documentation of therequirements and the subsequent associated support for the communicationand delivery of those requirements with relevant parties throughout theproject lifecycle. You will be responsible for: Project Initiation Supporting the Project Manager and the business in producing thebusiness case, in particular ensuring benefits align to strategic and tactical business objectives Supporting in business, technical and financial feasibility assessments Requirements Gathering Working with the business to capture and document requirements (bothfunctional and non-functional) using a range of techniques such asworkshop facilitation, document analysis, sites visits, use cases,scenario modelling, task and workflow analysis Ensuring requirements are concise, complete, specific, unambiguousand that they are aligned to the strategic and tactical goals of the project and the business Combining all requirements into a clear, managed, prioritised backlog Refining these requirements to a sufficient level of detail to allowSolution Architects and Application Developers to implement appropriate solutions Providing refined requirements into project iterations in time toallow design/delivery to commence Managing the scope and traceability of requirements throughout theproject lifecycle, ensuring that they are understood by the project teamand met by the delivered solution. Process Modelling Discovering and documenting the as-is process by applying variousprocess modelling techniques Designing and modelling the to-be process, performing gap analysisand identifying areas for improvement Identifying high level solution options for the business andpresenting these to stakeholders Ensuing business processes are aligned with the business and ITarchitecture, challenging where appropriate. Reviewing, and signing off solution designs, ensuring businessrequirements are verified, validated and delivered Test Working with the test team to provide business input into teststrategy, system test plans, system test conditions and UAT plans Co-ordinating UAT with the business Ensure thorough handover of requirements and use cases to enablequality test scripts to be produced Reviewing and signing off test scripts to ensure requirements arefully tested and met by the delivered solution Change Management (where required) Ensuring the benefits, impact and release of all changes are trackedand managed and also communicated to the relevant stakeholders Ensuring end users and IT support teams are fully trained to use,support and maintain the application/solution Projects Support Providing subject matter expertise on the business unit andassociated processes and systems to all relevant team members Assisting the PM in identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies Assisting the team in resolving any questions related to requirementsor process Delivering the required documentation during each stage of the project Supporting the supplier/hardware/software selection process byproviding input into any RFI or RFP and assisting in the assessment of responses against requirements Supporting the review of contracts drawn up with any 3rd partysuppliers to ensure that they accuratelyreflect the needs of the business Supporting the PM in post-implementation reviews and incorporatinglessons learned into future work You get: As well as the opportunity for great career progression, there iseverything from bonus schemes to season ticket loans that will make lifea little bit easier for you - including a huge staff discount of 40%,holiday days and access to our New Look Rewards which include someamazing discounts across a number of different businesses.
