Teacher of Science required for immediate start in Barnsley Secondary School, working on long-term supply.
Your new company
You will be working in a Barnsley Secondary School on a temporary supply basis. The school is a large and modern academy which has been rated as 'Good' by OFSTED, with a high performing, forward thinking department. The academy boasts 'state of the art' facilities, and prides itself in creating a learning environment in which the unique needs of students are met.
Your new role
You will be teaching general Science predominantly across Key Stage 3. The role will be to start asap after half term and is ongoing supply. The successful candidate will be able to cover full time, however part time may be considered for the right candidate dependant on timetabling.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 40 days experience teaching in a Secondary School setting in the last 2 years. You will need to have Qualified Teacher Status with a Secondary PGCE. Ideally you will have a Physics specialism, however this isn't essential. Strong behaviour management and previous good exam results would also be desirable. References will be received.
