English Teacher needed, from Jan 2018 - Jul 2018, full time maternity cover

Your new role
The school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to work for two terms starting from January 2018 up until the end of the academic year, July 2018. The role will be on a full time basis and will include teaching English mainly across KS3, with some KS4 included.

As an English Teacher at this school, you will be required to have full an active teaching responsibility, you will be required to plan, mark and assess all work completed by students. You will be patient and supportive with strong communication skills, and be required to build a good relationship with your students to nurture their academic and personal development.

You will be an interactive and enthusiastic classroom Teacher who will create and environment that will inspire, motivate and challenge your students.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified English Teacher holding QTS status, NQTs are welcome to apply. You will have recent and relevant experience teaching KS3 & KS4 English at secondary level. You will have confident classroom and behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from their previous employers.
