Simpson Judge are looking to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to work on a full time temporary basis for a leading manufacturer until August 2018.

Duties:

  • Invoice Processing of Overseas Stock purchases.
  • Invoice processing of Overseas Expenses.
  • Payment allocation against Purchase Orders and processing new Purchase Orders when required.
  • Preparing payment runs.
  • Statement reconciliation.
  • Dealing with email and telephone queries.
  • Daily filing of invoices, statements and general ad hoc duties.
  • Skills and experience:

  • Previous Purchase ledger experience.
  • Confident working on Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Able to work closely alongside other members of the team or on own initiative.
  • Desirable:

  • Experience of SAGE 1000.
  • Experience of working with and liaising with Overseas departments.
  • The role is to work on a full time temporary basis covering Maternity until approximately August 2018. There is flexibility with the hours on offer to suit the successful candidate.
