Maths Graduate Learning Mentor

Are you a talented maths graduate with a passion to get young people excited about your subject?

Do you want to gain experience in an exciting and fulfilling role with the potential to forge your perfect career in education?

Perhaps you are unsure of what to do next with your sought-after skills and knowledge?

Maths Learning Mentor

  • Dudley, West Midlands
  • Long-term role
  • £300 a week
  • Fantastic training and opportunities
  • Supportive and visionary leadership team

This role is a great opportunity for a talented maths graduate to inspire young people to get excited about and be more confident with maths. Day-to-day, the role will require you to deliver pre-planned work to small groups of students or on a 1:1 basis, as well as assisting the class teacher with classroom activities. The role is exciting and varied with the potential of gaining more responsibility and eventually organising and delivering your own booster sessions.

The perfect candidate for this role will have a 1st class of 2:1 degree in mathematics and will have a keen interest in supporting and empowering students to be the best they can be. You will need to be patient and resilient, with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. In addition, you will need to have a commitment to a career in education.

The school has a caring, welcoming and inclusive ethos, with significant experience training and developing graduates to move into teaching. Our schools are always excited to welcome a new member of staff that can bring another dimension to their school and subjects, with room to potentially develop into a teacher training role or permanent position.

If this role sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, then email your CV to Jamie at i-teachers today!
